More workstations / fully reversible usage / increased productivity
M.O.O.CON® and Helvetia Patria created through “Anchor Insurance” (n.b.: now part of the Helvetia Group) , combi spaces instead of the usual cellular offices in the centre of Vienna.
A landmark of Vienna Centre, the building of Anchor Insurance with the splendid Anchor clock at Hoher Markt, was renovated. Behind the historical façade are modern, fully reversible Combi-offices. Through the made to measure planning process, the quantities of workstations were almost doubled from 150 to 250, thus increasing productivity.
The timing: Half a year faster than scheduled
Building works started December 2003 and were completed in October 2005. There were 500m2 of concrete and reinforced concrete, 12 tons of steel / metal sections and 9200m2 of rubble removed. The total cost of the renovation was 15 million Euros (inc. VAT). The total floor area measured 6000m2 (without the basement).
An entire user concept created by the building consultants
Originally it was only the transformation of the entrance hall that was planned, then slowly new questions and problems developed. From this M.O.O.CON® developed a user concept for the entire building. Through a far-reaching transformation of the interior, a modern office concept plus specialist areas such as the mail distribution system, the data centre and the conference room, were implemented.
